Chord Overstreet opened up about two famous friends during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
The 35-year-old Glee alum revealed a conversation that he had with Glen Powell ahead of the second season of his show Acapulco, which inspired him to put on 15 pounds of muscle.
He also opened up about reuniting with Lindsay Lohan for a sequel to their hit Netflix Christmas movie Falling for Christmas.

Chord said that he got in touch with the trainer that Glen worked with for Top Gun after learning that he was supposed to film a shirtless scene for his show.
“And after season one, Glen said one of the writers had come up to him, and he was like, ‘Hey, Chord’s got a scene where he is gonna be shirtless with all of his frat buddies. And it’s like one of the first few episodes of season two in Acapulco.’ He didn’t tell me that. Glen told me, and I was like, ‘Oh s-it,’” Chord recalled.
“So I started going to his trainer for Top Gun. Like, you know, it was like feeding me creatine and working out with heavy weights for two months straight. And I came back top of season two and they were like, ‘You’re like, kind of like jacked right now.’ And I didn’t realize I’d put on like 15 pounds of muscle for the second season, and then the whole season never had me have my shirt off once.”
Is there any chance for a sequel to Falling for Christmas?
“You know, I wouldn’t say no. I think it’s probably, you know, if Lindsay comes back from Dubai and wants to do another one, sure,” Chord said. “I think those movies are just always a really fun time and, it’s almost impossible to not only watch Christmas movies around the holidays. So yeah, I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback and a lot of people who just like, who love that movie and, I mean who doesn’t love a holiday movie around Christmas.”
He continued, heaping praise on his costar: “She’s so good and funny and just like really natural with the comedy stuff. So she’s really easy to work with.”
