Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton caused some damage to the set of Bridgerton while filming a steamy love scene. Now, the actress is showing off what they broke.
On Thursday (June 13), the second half of the show’s third season arrived on Netflix.
To celebrate the occasion, Nicola shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself with and Luke posing next to a piece of furniture that they broke.
The show’s intimacy coordinator even chimed in.

On Instagram, Nicola shared a photo of herself and Luke posing next to a damaged chaise. In it, they are both giving thumbs up to the camera. The actress is grinning while her costar is making a fake serious expression.
A second photo offers a close-up look at one of the legs, which appeared to snap.
The show’s intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot also shared the photo on social media.
“Been waiting FOREVER for this to come out! It might be my most favourite work picture I’ve ever taken. You just KNOW it’s going to be a great scene when something like this happens,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
She continued, writing, “This was a scene I won’t ever forget and couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved.”
The revelation brings an end to a guessing game that has been going on for a while after the costars previously revealed the accident. Since then, fans had been wondering what damage occurred.
If you missed it, Nicola revealed the “very naked” scene that she asked to film for the series as a response to body shamers. She also responded to someone telling her that she was “brave” to film steamy scenes.
