The highest-paid athletes of 2025 have been revealed!
On May 15, Forbes unveiled their annual countdown of the highest paid players in sports, and there’s some very interesting data about the top earners.
The No. 1 highest-paid athlete of the year earned an estimated $275 million in the past 12 months, and this isn’t his first time at the top – it’s his fifth!
This year’s 50 top earners collected an estimated $4.23 billion (before taxes and fees), demolishing last year’s estimated total of $3.88 billion. The new total includes $1.04 billion from athletes’ endorsements, appearances and other business endeavors.
