Karen Huger will be leaving jail sooner than expected!
In February, the 62-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac was sentenced to two years in jail with one year being suspended for her DUI case. The arrest was related to a March 2024 car accident, after which Karen was hit with a number of charges including DUI and DWI.
The Real Housewives of Potomac moved forward with production on season 10 without Karen, as she’s currently serving her jail sentence. On Tuesday (August 26), it was reported that Karen has been given a new release date and will be out of jail sooner than expected.

The Jasmine Brand has reported that Karen will now be released from jail September 2.
According to the publication, terms of Karen‘s early release include being prohibited for driving for one year.
Karen‘s RHOP co-stars Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby previously shared that they’ve been in indirect contact with Karen during her sentence. According to Gizella and Ashley, Karen is “not in the place” to be directly communicating with them, but has spent the past several months in jail focused on bettering herself.
