Hallmark Channel‘s first Christmas movie of the 2025 Countdown to Christmas programming slate has arrived!!!
A Royal Montana Christmas, starring Fiona Gubelmann and Warren Christie, is kicking off the festive season and the movie has been in the works for years.
Fiona took to Instagram when the movie was announced to let fans know how this is her passion project.

In A Royal Montana Christmas, Princess Victoria of Zelarnia (Gubelmann) escapes her royal duties for a quiet Christmas getaway at Peaceful Pines Ranch in Montana, where she once spent the holidays with her late father. There, she meets dashing ranch guide Huntley Blaylock (Christie), who’s grappling with taking over his family’s ranch. As Victoria helps revive the ranch’s Christmas Holly-Day Dance, sparks fly. But when Huntley discovers she’s a princess, both must decide if love can bridge their two very different worlds.
