Playboi Carti has been charged with misdemeanor assault in Utah.
The 30-year-old rapper was arrested following an incident that allegedly involved his girlfriend and a limousine driver earlier this month, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement says the incident occurred on October 2 while Carti was in the state for his Antagonist Tour.

The limo driver—identified as Carl Reynolds—told police he was driving the “FOMDJ” rapper and his entourage from the Waldorf Astoria in Park City to rehearsal when Carti and his girlfriend got into a heated argument.
The driver says that he intervened, prompting Carti to threaten to beat up both Carl and his girlfriend.
He alleges that Carti punched his girlfriend in the chest, prompting the driver to pull over on the highway where Carti then punched him in the mouth as the woman was exiting the vehicle.
TMZ adds that another driver at the limo company reportedly witnessed the incident. Wasatch County police responded and confirmed that investigation is ongoing.
The limousine driver told the outlet he wants to hire a lawyer to ensure the rapper doesn’t harm anyone else.
