Billy Joel and Fleetwood Mac are trending!
A mash-up of hits between the iconic music acts has taken off on TikTok, and one sound alone has nearly half a million uses to date.
Keep reading to find out more…
The sound is a mash-up of Billy‘s 1973 classic “Piano Man,” which leads perfectly into Fleetwood Mac‘s “Silver Springs.”
“Silver Springs” was written during the Rumours sessions circa 1976, and was included as the B-side to the album’s lead single, “Go Your Own Way.”
“Time cast a spell on you, but you won’t forget me / I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me.”
“Now Paul is a real estate novelist / Who never had time for a wife / And he’s talkin’ with Davy, who’s still in the navy / And probably will be for life,” Billy‘s song goes, as it leads into the Fleetwood song.

@christaallen time cast a spell and turned me from the tragically awkward youngest daughter of a struggling blue collar family… into the woman who can turn any challenge into something magical. this is not just my story, it is ALL of us. you can take the hand you’re dealt and make it absolutely BEAUTIFUL! when I look back at playing this character in 13 Going on 30, I didn’t know it then, but she was the genesis of what would become my purpose. what Jenna Rink symbolized was also a whisper from the universe: “you’re here to remind women what’s possible.” ✨and if being a woman in the spotlight has taught me one thing, it’s this: people love your beauty, your brilliance, your boldness — right up until YOU benefit from it.✨ the same world that praises women for being magnetic, sexy, ambitious… is the first to call them “too much” the moment they own it. too confident? too successful? too loud? too proud of your own magic? suddenly everyone has an opinion about how submissive you *should* be. but I’m not here to play small and neither are you. you have gifts. creativity. humor. perspective. intellect. empathy. your job isn’t to dilute yourself to make other people comfortable. your job is to GROW what’s great about you, and then share it boldly, bravely… because we’re here to connect. to remember that we are one. Ram Dass put it best: we are all just walking each other home. and if the internet feels scary, think of it like a campfire… a place where we sit in a big circle and tell stories. so bring your stories, bring your reverent respect and care for the flame, and share what makes you special. someone else — even if it’s just 1 person — will hear it and feel “Oh… me too.” and in that way, we walk one another home. so let your light shine. take up space. CREATE what only you can create. the universe didn’t make you this way by accident. ✨when we Create, we are like The Creator of All That Is✨ head to the link in my bio to read my Substack and listen to the podcast I co-host with @thevicdaniel — new episodes every other Tuesday — @praydate ♬ original sound – amai ♡ ❇️✴️
@maycineeley The best revenge is success. I hope my face haunts him the rest of his miserable life ❤️
@salah we really were just friends at first
@tabithaswatosh It’s crazy how time works. I ended up moving to California, meeting all new friends, including Michael for the first time. And what i thought was the lowest moment of my life— ended up being the most beautiful. I am so grateful i didn’t stay with that man.
