New details have emerged about what allegedly happened in that Uber car with Kiefer Sutherland, leading to his arrest this week.
The 59-year-old Designated Survivor actor was arrested just after midnight on early Monday morning (January 12) in Hollywood.
Kiefer has been accused of assaulting a rideshare driver and now details have been revealed about what allegedly happened.

TMZ reports that Kiefer ordered an Uber Black car after having a late dinner with a friend on Sunday night. They were on their way to his home when the alleged incident happened.
The report claims that Kiefer asked the driver to pull over and let him out in the middle of the ride, but the actor told cops that the driver refused. Kiefer says he asked two more times, but the driver still wouldn’t pull over.
The Uber driver claims that “Kiefer threatened to kill him if he didn’t pull over” and the driver also claims that the actor “assaulted” them with his hands.
TMZ speculated that the confrontation between Kiefer and the driver could have been a language barrier, as the driver requested a translator.
