Karol G is teasing her new album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, or I Don’t Regret Feeling So Much in English.

The 35-year-old “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” superstar just shared a teaser video ahead of her new album’s release on Friday (August 7), which is available to pre-save now.

Karol G Shares Emotional Message Ahead of New Album

During the video, Karol shares intimate thoughts about love and pain. (She recently broke up with Feid after three years of dating.)

“There’s a version of you that one day disappears forever. Because there are pains that don’t just break your heart, they change you, they tear away entire parts of who you were, parts of you that will never return,” she begins, translated from Spanish.

Karol G Reflects on Love, Heartbreak & Rebuilding Herself

“Sometimes life hits you so many times that you stop reacting. You’re suspended in time, in space. Everything seems fine without you. Nothing needs you. The days go by, people move on, and you stay in the same place, not knowing what you feel, not knowing what you want, not understanding who you are now. And there comes a moment when you even stop trying to explain it, because no one seems to truly understand.”

“Then, you learn to carry it alone. You learn to smile when you don’t feel like it, to get up when you don’t even have the strength, and to keep going when you don’t even know where you’re going anymore. You stop believing in so many things. You stop believing in promises, in forever, in people, in love, and even in yourself,” Karol says.

“Because pain has a very strange way of emptying you out inside. And when nothing remains of what you once knew, you find yourself facing the only person who can never abandon you: yourself. And that’s where the hardest work begins: rebuilding yourself. Not to go back to being who you were, but to become someone new, accepting that although you’ll never be the same, you still have the hope of becoming someone better.”

“And if I could, I would relive it all. Because if the price of having experienced something incredible is missing it afterward, it’s a price worth paying. I don’t regret being who I am, living life the way I live it, loving the way I love…” Karol concludes. Watch above.
