Jason Kelce is speaking out about that viral photo of him seemingly taking a nap at Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour concert last week in Miami.
The 36-year-old retired football player reacted to the photo on his New Heights podcast with brother Travis Kelce and revealed what was really going on at the time during the concert.

“You took a nap at the Eras Tour,” Travis said, bringing up the subject. “What is that all about?”
“Travis, you know I didn’t take a nap. I did not take a nap,” Jason quipped back.
“This show is absolutely electric. It’s the greatest show that’s ever been onstage, and you’re over here falling asleep,” Travis added.
Jason then went on to explain what was really happening in the photo.
“So Kylie is holding Elliotte, right? Elliotte was just with me. We were dancing, and I was sitting down … we go out there, and I realize I’m in the middle of the open,” he shared. “It isn’t like a box, like closed.”
He added he felt like he was in a fishbowl with “everybody staring at me,” so he had to sit down and take a moment.
“I’m just sitting here, and I’m feeling it. And I’m tapping my thigh,” Jason said. “And I’m in the moment listening to the song. And then all of a sudden, I go on Twitter, and I see this f—king picture. And I’m like, dude, what the f–k?”
Jason also noted there was no way he could have been sleeping in the pic.
“My hand is hovering,” he said. “You can’t sleep with your hand hovering above your knee.”
“I’m nervous about all these other people getting pictures with me and Ellie, and I’m trying to have a moment. And then all of a sudden, I see this — betrayed by one of my best friends,” Jason joked about his friend and former teammate Beau Allen, who posted the photo, which you can see below!
