'Love Island: All Stars' Season 3 Halted as Villa is Evacuated Due to Wildfires in South Africa

Production for Love Island: All Stars has been halted.

The cast for season three of the Maya Jama-hosted dating reality show has been evacuated from the villa due to the wildfires in South Africa.

Originally, season three was scheduled to premiere on Monday, January 12 in the UK, but the episode has been postponed amid the situation.

Keep reading to find out more…“Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed,” ITV shared in a statement, via Deadline.

“Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed,” the statement continued.

The delay in production will also affect the premiere on Peacock in the US, which was set for Wednesday, January 14.
